Obama spoke the truth about small town Pennsylvanians-- namely, that many are bitter because their jobs have gone away.  The fact that what he said may have been taken -- because of ill phrasing -- as an inpolite description of a realistic phenomenon should not be something about which Democrats attack each other over.  If you care about furthering progressive ideals you need to be quite careful about personal attacks such as painting our likely nominee as an elitist -- even if you think its true -- because Republicans will use this against us in the Fall.  Last election we had Kerry as our nominee-- a candidate who much more easily was characterized as an elitist -- and we Democrats didn't say a peep in support of such characterizations. Lets not do the Republican's work for them.
